Summer Start Vs. Traditional Summer Enrollment

Summer Start Enrollment

Students who elect to participate in Summer Start must pay their enrollment deposit and initiate and finalize the full registration process through the Summer Start website in advance of the summer term. To receive the Summer Start rate, students can only enroll in course sections from the Summer Start list below.

Traditional Summer Enrollment

Students who elect to start their freshman year in May and register outside of the Summer Start website, or register for courses not included on the Summer Start list, are not considered Summer Start students and will not receive the Summer Start rate.

Courses

Students will register for courses in April with assistance from the Summer Start team. See a full list of Core Curriculum courses here. Note that your major may specific a specific core course. You can see your major curriculum in the AU Bulletin. This page will be updated when the summer schedule is finalized in February.
